HDMI mode unavailable - HDMI 4 Pi - 7" Display 1280x800 IPS

Post by jintojollyjames »

Hi,

I recently purchased the display (HDMI 4 Pi - 7" Display 1280x800 IPS - VGA/NTSC/PAL/NTSC [ID:1033] http://www.adafruit.com/products/1033) on 11/07/13 (Order Confirmation No: 370706) and can't get it to recognize my Beagle Bone Black or Laptops in HDMI mode. The beagle bone black and laptops works with my TV HDMI monitor, but using the 7" in HDMI mode just results in black screen (after displaying ‘no signal’ message). The HDMI cable used also worked with my TV HDMI monitor.

I was able to use this display as an additional monitor with my laptops using VGA connector. VGA mode works.

I have seen similar issue reported in the forum threads listed below:

Thanks,
Jinto James
