Building your great Arcade Joystick I've just blown off (ah, the resistor!) my little Momentary Pushbutton Led (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1441).
Being "part of the game" I'd like to try to fix it.
I've opened it gently and a a very little white led came out...
Will it suffice to change it?
Do you have it as spare parts or maybe can give me suggestions about where to get one?
Even just tech specs would be great.
ps
Bluefruit is simply impressive and very very well done

You should be able to replace it with a standard 3mm led. We have several colors in the store:

How did you open them up? I have tried several approaches to no avail.

I haven't cracked one open myself, but it looks like there are locking tabs on the base insert.
See the slot just below the knurled nut.

Yea I tried to push those in using various tools. Couple of flathead screwdrivers, a dip puller. Nothing seemed to budge though :/.

I'll ask around and see if anyone else has opened one up.

We've never opened one - didn't think it was possible! :) Never successfully done it - they're not 'user servicable' like the big arcade buttons.
