differences between 2 led strips
Hello, what is the difference between the "Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip 32 LED" and the "Adafruit NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip 30 LED"? Is it that the first led strip can be used with controllers other than the Arduino and that it requires lower memory? Thank you.

Re: differences between 2 led strips
The "Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip 32 LED" uses the WS2801 controller chips. This requires 2 GPIO pins to drive and the signal timing is fairly flexible.
The "Adafruit NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip 30 LED" uses the WS2812 chips. These can be driven by a single pin, but the timing requirements are very tight. It is not possible to control these from a processor with a multi-tasking operating system without writing kernel level code.
Both strips have similar memory requirements.
