Pattern when spinning neopixel or blinkytape

Anybody have a program that will create patterns if you spin a neopixel or blinkytape around and around? I've seen some cool stuff in bicycle spokes that spell words or patterns.

Its fun to experiment. I took a bicycle wheel and mounted it on a board. Mounted a Blinkytape onto the wheel and used the Adafruit Library for Neopixels. I experimented with sketches for the various Trinkets and Gemma's changing aspects of the code by trial and error to see what happens to the LEDs? Once I liked the patterns in a normal RGB LED light strip (neopixel), I uploaded the code to the Blinkytape I had mounted on the wheel and gave it a spin before a "long shutter" exposure. NICE!
