Hello, I've not entered the 'duino realm, not that I won't, I simply haven't, however, I'd like to ask about getting the data sheet on the LPD8806 strip LEDs so that I can develop a controller using a different processor. Is the raw clock and serial data format definitions used to address and commnad the LEDs in this product available? You know, clock frequency, serial data format etc, and how or where might I find this? Thanks very much.

There is no protocol spec. We reverse-engineered it to produce our Arduino library. You ought to be able to refer to our library for details.
