I bought 10m of 'Adafruit NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip 60 LED' and have two dead pixels.
I had to remove one pixel from the downstream end of a 4m section before it would pass the signal to downstream pixel strips and one pixel in the middle of a strip doesn't light up but passes signal just fine.
Other than these two dead pixels I'm driving the remaining 598 with no problems whatsoever.
Now that Christmas is over the strips are being converted from tree lights to a 10x60 grid and I'd really like it to completely light up.

How comfortable are you with soldering SMT components?
We have loose WS2811 (six-pad) and WS2812B (four-pad) NeoPixels in the shop, and will be happy to send you some replacements if you'd like.

I'm not comfortable with soldering surface-mount components. Can you clip a couple LEDs off the end of a strip and send those? I can solder the strip pieces together...

Re: A few dead pixels
Sure, we can do that.
We need to make sure you get the right kind of pixels though.. we're currently moving from the 6-pin WS2811 toward the 4-pin WS2812B. Could you post a photo of your strip so we're sure we get the right ones please?

Looks like the 4-pin.
My original order for 10m was on 12/4.
