Wrong wavelength

Hello,
I bought 12 green led panels with 8x8 LEDs, supposed to glow at 560 nm according to the information on the screen when I bought them (order 431000). However, the LEDs appear to emit at around 513 nm (spectrum attached), not at 560. Do you actually sell a 560 nm LED panel (and I got a wrong one), or is the panel correct but your wavelength information wrong? Out of the 12 panels, 11 are intact and I would like to return them (in one, I have some soldering because it was tested).

The number series on the side of the LED panel, KWM-30881CPGB, is as in the order confirmation, but I could not find the product any more from the Adafruit pages.

I am attaching the spectrum (...cannot see that the attachment was really added, but the spectrum, measured with an Ocean Optics S2000 spectrometer using a standard refletance standard as background, corrected against a spectrum of a calibration lamp, is very clear, showing ~513 nm maximum with HWHM of ~20 nm).

The part number you gave corresponds to this 1.2" 8x8 green LED matrix: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1623.

The datasheet for that matrix (http://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/KWM-30881XPGB.pdf) lists the wavelength being around 520nm with a HWHM of 35nm. The wavelength you measured is within tolerances for those specs.

The other green 1.2" 8x8 matrix we sell (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1045) looks like it's rated at 575nm.

Do you have a product ID number for the devices you ordered? It should be listed on the paper packing list that came with the hardware. If we got the wrong part we'll be happy to replace it.
