I'm using a 20x4 RGB backlight positive LCD (ID:499) and several blocks of pixels quit working. If you take a look at the attached picture, the display reads "02" but it's supposed to read "0002". Has anyone seen this with these displays? Anyone know how to fix it or do I need to replace it?
Thanks!

That is unusual. Most display problems affect a whole row or column. If you press gently around the bezel do any missing blocks show up? If you run the "Hello World" example, do you see anything?

The text is not gone completely, but it is definitely faded. Pressing around the bezel made no difference.

Unfortunately, that is outside the warranty.
