Neopixel ring 60 issues

Hello forum. In my attempt to solder the 4 sections of a 60 count ring together, I ended up burning up the pads and then they fell off. How is one supposed to connect the 4 sections? with tiny pieces of wire between the pads? Im lost and have a 3/4 ring working. see pic

If you've burned off the pads you will need to scrape back some of the solder mask and use wires. If you plan to support the ring externally you can use 24 to 30 ga solid wire.

Ok Thanks, scrape back the solder mask under the pads or at another location?

I would try just back from where the pad came off as it would be neater but if you can't get it there try another spot.

I got it to work. Thanks for the encouragement. Now if I could get my other 3 neopixel rings that only show one LED to totally work then Id be in hog heaven.

Make sure you are connecting to the correct end of the strip.

Im using rings. is there a specific 5V, and ground I should use to power these.
