NTSC/PAL (Television) TFT Display - 2.5" Diagonal

I purchased a NTSC/PAL (Television) TFT Display - 2.5" Diagonal PRODUCT ID: 912 and prior to final installation began to peel away what I thought was a screen protector. Turns out this was some kind of tinted film to make the screen viewable. There was no warning not to remove this film so I was shocked when I turned it back on to find that my display was blazing white and very difficult to see, it looks amazing when wearing sunglasses though. Is there any way to receive a replacement film or to return the screen to have the film reapplied? Other than this I am very pleased with the product and will be purchasing more in the future.
