I need to get my display replaced, the unit arrived defective. This is what it displays when plugged in.

That could be a power issue. What kind of power adapter are you using? Do you have a different one you can try?

I am using the one recommended that I ordered with the monitor.

Possibly the adapter is bad. Do you have a different one you can try?

Yes I do; I just tried a 12v 1Amp power adapter. Exact same result.

I have a similar problem with my 7" 1280X800 display with sound. (ID: 1726) Order# 946540-3773170394 This problem happens before I even get it hooked up to my RPi. I have tried 4 power supplies(all as you call for), same results. Please send me a RMA so I can get my project going.

Please post a picture of the problem. What kind of computer are you using the display with? Does the computer recognize the display?
