I just picked up a handful of these (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1770) but couldn't find small uSD cards locally, so I used 8GB cards.
I've used SDFormatter to format them, and they seem to work fine in other (non-Arduino) devices, but the shield won't recognize them.
I've tried using an adafruit WaveShield, an SD Shield, and the TFT breakout, but nothing wants to read them.
I haven't been able to find any documentation that says there's a limit on the SD library.....
any thoughts? Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

There should be no problem with 8GB cards. That's what we sell. Format it as FAT32

OK, thanks. That's what I thought. Then something else has got to be going on. I have them formatted as FAT32 using SDFormatter, and they work great in the PC or camera. Not so much in the Arduino. Must be some library somewhere. Thanks!
