I'm working on a project and I wanted to use a small touchscreen (2050) as a basic user interface. I'm wondering if I need anything other than the microSD card (and jumpers) in addition to the touchscreen to use it with an Arduino MEGA.
As far as I can tell using the touchscreen for GUIs should work, but if anyone knows if there is a reason that this product wouldn't be feasible for this use I'd really appreciate if it could be pointed out. The plan is to make buttons on the screen (similar to a smartphone) that execute basic tasks, such as flipping a relay. Ideally the user would be able to scroll through these buttons as well. Thanks in advance
3.5" TFT Touchscreen Necessary Items? GUIs?

That's all you need. It will work for your GUI.
