Chrono Dot RTC

Post by DennyMac »

I need an accurate one pulse per second siginal for a "WISPER" transmitter. Does the Chrono Dot (ID:255) power up with the 1p/s active without programming. I don't care for the time or date and there will be no micro nor do I want to connect a micro to it. Just want a pulse any time it is powered.
Thanks

Unfortunately, no. The DS3231 chip on the Chronodot powers up with the SQW output disabled.
