Beagle Bone vs Chumby vs Raspberry Pi

Postby kscharf » Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:33 am

There are now (at least) three choices for a small embedded Linux project board, the Beagle Bone($89), Raspberry Pi($35), and the Chumby hacker board($89). From what I can see both the RP and the CHB have NTSC video out while you have to add that to the BB. The RP may be the cheapest but it's almost unobtainium at the moment, and the other two choices may be a bit more powerfull. Anybody have any opinons on this? Can I use the BB or CHB in the same applications as a RP? What would you use?
