I started to test my new BeagleBone two weeks ago. Everything seems working.
But yesterday when I plug in the 5V supply (got from Adafruit: http://www.adafruit.com/products/276), the power led just flashed once and turned off immediately, and the system did not boot.
I tried the usb power supply many times too. No luck.
I tried to measure SYS_5V with external 5V supply connected. There is no output.
So is this a PMIC failure? What should I do?
Any suggestion is deeply appreciated...

You might want to check with http://beagleboard.org/support to confirm the diagnosis.

Re: Power failure after two weeks?
I have the same issue. I got 2 last week and plugged one just to burn it in. It's been running fine until today when I decided I wanna doing something with it. So I plugged in USB mouse and it just died. Now, when I plug in the 5V supply (also from Adafruit), the power LED just blinks.
How do I go about with RMA?

You'll probably want the same link as above: http://beagleboard.org/support
There's an RMA link on the page, and they'll have more information about troubleshooting the board to confirm the nature of the failure, or possibly get it working again so you don't have to wait for a new one.
