Although I'll take a shot at creating a new one, I'm wondering if I can just purchase a replacement flash preloaded with the same angstrom distro (or updated one) that came with the beaglebone.
I purchased the A5 beaglebone some months ago from adafruit.

We don't stock the flash separately. You might check with http://beagleboard.org/bone for availability.
