BBB Ubuntu - Use SD Card as memory?

Post by rishik »

I have found several links explaining how to have the Beagebone Black (I have the Rev B version) to utilize the micro-SD card as storage/extra memory, but I haven't gotten any of them to work. Is it even possible for my board to utilize the memory/storage on my SD card? Otherwise, with only 2 GB, my projects would be severely limited. Preferably, I would want all of my storage to be on the external micro-SD card, and have the OS be Ubuntu. Is there any site you have known to have worked, any distribution of Ubuntu, or any steps you could provide me with here? Thank you!

Never done this ourselves - you *should* be able to just load a formatted card as a filesystem directory. We suggest posting in the BBB google group as they are BBB experts!
