I ordered a uniBBB - Unibody Aluminum Case for BeagleBone Black with my last order and I also sent a support request explaining that there was a problem with the uniBBB after I received it. I still have not heard a response back. Can someone at ADAFruit going to help me get a functional case?
Thanks,
Cory

Re: DEFECTIVE: uniBBB - Unibody Aluminum Case for BeagleBon
The BBB does not fit into the case correctly.
The case has 4 screw mounts for the BBB.
The mounting point that would be next to the MMC slot on the BBB sticks out to far and this causes the slot for the MMC on the BBB to hit the side of the screw mount [on the case]. When this happens the BBB does not line up with the external ports and you can not put the screws in the BBB.

Is it an extra unmilled bit of metal getting in the way? I mean, does this appear to be a flaw in your particular unit, or does it appear to be a design error? Can you post a picture?

I would say that it is a flaw in the unit. If it was a bur or something like that I would just file it down. The mounting point is to wide for the screw next to the mmc slot on the bbb.
it would need to be cut down.
it would need to be cut down.

Is it possible for you to post a photo so we know we're looking at the right thing? We will also contact the case designer

We can replace a defective case. But first, the case designer would like a picture.
