BEAGLEBONE Question..
I Currently have a BBB B on a powered 7 port USB HUB that I have a 2.5 inch sata drive on a usb interface, and that works fine.. :) My question i, I am waiting for my BBB version C to come in and when I get it, can I just plug it into the same hub, and if I do, will it be able to see that usb/sata drive?? Or will I burn everything out??

Re: BEAGLEBONE Question..
You should be able to power a Rev-C BBB from a powered hub.
If you mean "can both the Rev-B and Rev-C BBBs see the drive at the same time," the answer is "no". Only one device can be at the top of the USB network tree.
USB connections are inherently 'directed'.. there's a master device at one end of the cable and a slave device at the other. The cables are designed so it's impossible to connect things any other way. Only one BBB can serve as the master to the USB hub, so only that one will be able to see the hard drive.
If you plug a second BBB into the hub as a slave, the master might be able to see it, but I don't know how they'd communicate. You'd need to ask that question over in the Circuitco BBB forums.
