Hello,
I just bought a BBB rev c board and I have a problem with it. It will not boot. I connected it to a monitor with HDMI cable and just get errors. Some history and info:
Day 1
- New board, plug into usb of another computer (tethered for power), - boots, works fine.
- I can ssh to the unit, I can establish a session to the gui on port 3389, no prob.
- I issue a shutdown -h now - and the unit shuts down
Day 2
- I power up the unit and i get blinking lights but cannot establish ssh session
- I cannot ping the default IP address
- I cannot connect in any manner
- I unplug usb power and figure I will try later
Day 3
- I connect usb power and get same results - nothing
- I try attaching it to another computer's usb port, same results - nothng
- I connect an hdmi cable to the video port and only get a few errors, nothing more
errors start with:
0.381365] omap2_mbox_probe: platform not supported
0.548113] tps65217-bl tps65217-bl : no platfor data provided
then there are messages about no cape found but I never attached a cape
The unit only worked once. Can I get a replacement?
