BOM error?

Post by luke »

In the schematic and the BOM, it says that R24 should be 470 OHM, however the part number listed (9C12063A4703JLHFT) is for 470K OHM. Which is correct?

If 470 Ohm is correct, as I'm guessing it is, how tight is that? I don't have any 470's, but I do have extra 270's. would those work? thanks

It is the 470 Ohm.

well I threw the 270 Ohm resistor in there, and my computer didn't recognize the usb/serial converter. I'm really hoping that the 470 ohm resister will fix it, otherwise i've made a mistake :(. i guess i'll know in a couple days when i get the part in.

does the USB recognition depend at all on the pic, or is it completely independent? this will make my troubleshooting (if necessary) a lot simpler.

well, the 470 Ohm resistor didn't do the trick. any suggestions? does XP automatically recognize it like it does with most USB devices (i.e. pop up a little window)?
