Hi,
I'm about to begin constructing my mintyboost but am having a hard time finding the right solder in the UK.
No one seems to sell Rosin core or 60/40 solder here?
Could someone tell me if either of these solders are correct to use for this project?

Sorry if my questions is dumb but I'm a newbie at all this!

i suggest getting a .015 diameter , 60/40 is good, too , but honestly, anything here should be just fine

I am in Canada and here the Stained Glass shops sell 60/40 flux core solder, 60/40 no core solder and 50/50 no core solder.nano wrote:stained glass solder is NOT the same as electronics solder. They cannot be used to replace another.
My local electronics parts store sells the exact same 60/40 flux core solder.
For doing lead cane stained glass I use 50/50 no core solder and for copper foiled stained glass, I use the 60/40 flux core. Cleaner than painting everything with liquid flux unless I have a large surface area than I go 60/40 no core and paint the area with liquid flux.
I also have been doing electronics for over twenty years with the same 60/40 solder flux core solder. I not talking micro work here, but large joint repair work.
