grounded connection

hey guys i was just wondering about the board files. If i look at the schematic every time where there is a ground the connections on the board just end. the negative goes to like one pin in the radio transmitter i think. doesn't electricity have to keep flowing??? someone please help me. It jsut makes no sence. I though everything that says GND means it goes back to the negative. please help. Thanks

now that i look at the construction pix i see that there are huge plains of copper all around the boad. this probably explains why some components go to nthing. How do I get these plains to show up in eagle?? somone help me plz

GND isn't necessarily -
the large unetched pieces of copper ARE Gnd as best I recall. hence why the trace just 'ends'
