Problem ordering board...

Post by Manny »

I followed the tutorial from http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorial/PCB/ea ... torial.htm to generate the files to order the PCB, but 4pcb has kicked the order back saying I need to include a board layout. Any easy way to do this, or have I missed a step?

What exactly do you mean by a board layout?

In case this helps, I also ordered from 4pcb.com, but the only problem I encountered after follwoing the same tutorial was the lack of a board outline. I fixed this by including the dimension layer on at one of the files on the CAM Processor in Eagle.

Whoops! Should have said board outline. How do I add the dimension layer you mentioned?

When you are on the CAM Processor on Eagle and select Dimension from the list on the right (under Layers). Then click process selection. Tell 4pcb.com that the outline is on the Top Component/Copper Layer (.cmp file)
