Recommendations for Buying a Raspberry Pi?

Hello!

The Friday posts are fun and informative, but trying to find a Pi to buy in the United States is worse (probably) than pulling teeth.

Do you have a source/distributor that we can check out who is selling these? I can't find them anywhere and it's not from a lack of doing Google searches.

I got mine from Newark/E14, ordered 8/6 and had it 8/15. When I ordered they say backordered until 9/5 and then told me my ship date was 8/21.

in the UK they are hard to find as well, coolcomponents had 20 and they sold out over the weekend ,they dont hang around for long .
could be ages before they get more in stock.
i have had one on order for 3 months but nothing

Lucky you. I ordered mine April 12, 2012 and received it August 6, 2012.
