Do the miniature wireless keyboard & USB WiFi coexist on RPi?

Post by strykeroz »

Hi

I'm considering making my next RPi part of a re-purposing of an LCD iMac. To do so I'd need to have a wireless keyboard and WiFi running from USB, and a powered hub to run other USB devices.

Has anyone tried the minature wireless keyboard (ID 922) with the USB WiFi (ID 814) on the same RPi, and did you find that you could move one of them out to a powered hub and still function? Ideally, I need to have one of them on the RPi and the other on a powered hub. Bonus points if the powered hub was the Adafruit one (ID 961) so I can get all 3 items here, and I'll be able to fit it internal to the iMac and power everything off the single wall wart.

Thanks
Geoff
