Raspberry Pi sending data to COSM

I have the Raspberry Pi connected as per your tutorial

I created an account in Cosm and added a datastream, changed the API and feed number in the python script, etc.

When I run the ./adafruit_cosm_temp.py (i used underscores for the name), I get a reading of the temperature, but then the data is not sent to cosm.

I was getting the error of not authorized on file datastream.py but found it in the directory eeml and copy it to the geekman-python-eeml-a7d2949 which is where I created the python script.

Now I get the error: "No access to /dev/mem/ Try running a root!

Am I running as root. I am logged in with username: pi

Forgot to mention that I am using the adafruit Occidentalis v2 disto.

I got it to work: the API key was wrong. I connected with ssh from my computer to the raspberry pi and copy paste the key to the adafruit-cosm-temp.py script.
