Adafruit Pi Box Paper Coating

Postby kaybee » Tue Sep 18, 2012 1:27 am

This may be a dumb question.

I received my un-assembled Pi Box today and I've run into a bit of a snag. The paper coating is virtually impossible to remove. I've sat there and scratched at the different parts for at least half an hour and I was only able to successfully remove the coating from one piece. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing?

hiya!

no trick at all, all you need to do is peel the plastic off.

if you can't peel the paper off just drop a note to support@adafruit.com

The video helped. Starting at a corner seems to be the best way to go to get the stuff off. Even after removing it, there's bits of paper stuck in the etched designs though. I'll see if I can scrub them out later.

Thank you.
