LCD+ keypad pi plate with 20x4 LCD?

I've been anxiously awaiting your LCD pi plate and I'm glad to see it's now at least in your catalog. However I would like to use it with the 20x4 LCD unit. I appreciate the fact that the LCD will cover the buttons. I wasn't going to use the buttons on the board what was going to wire in some external pushbuttons to the places where the onboard buttons go. Can you anticipate any problems with using the 20x4 LCD on this pi plate? I'm not afraid to adapt the software myself if need be.

My other problem is that all versions of your LCD pi plate come with the 16x2 LCDs. I did not see where you are selling the pi plate kit separately without the actual LCD. I suppose that at the inexpensive price you are selling it I can afford to go ahead and buy the extra LCD but it would be nice if it was offered without the display.

it will work fine - but the buttons will be covered, some noodling around might be required, like placing the contrast pot on the opposite side to adjust!
