My new pi boots with occidentalis, but I can't navigate around the setup screen with the keyboard. It's a Dell keyboard that is working fine on a desktop.
Is there any easy way to see if there is something wrong with the USB versus the system just locking up? If I got a serial console hooked up, would it be active on the setup screen?

I am having the same problem it seems as yourself. Please take a look at my post "USB stops working".
