AM2302 - No Data

Hello AdaFruits !!

i'm trying to get temperature/humidity with AM2302 but no success.....
i've read the others topics about getting datas from the AM2302, it seems to be a little SENSITIVE....

I give a lot of tries but i don't have a result like 0x00 but my AM2302 block when i try to get datas....no response from the sensor..i need to break the command to release me in prompt...

I clone the git Adafruit Python Code, then 'Adafruit_DHT 2302 4'......
I try on GPIO4, 17, 21, 22....but the behavior is the same, no response even a 0x00...

I can't follow all your connections. Try to simplify things. Connect the sensor directly to the Pi without all the additional wiring.

I have changed the photo...more simple connections...

I try Adafruit_DHT 2302 4.....but like i told : no response....

Thanks, that is easier to see now. The yellow wire is hidden, is that connected to GPIO #4?
Are you using the example code from the tutorial? http://learn.adafruit.com/dht-humidity- ... re-install

Sorry...the yellow wire is connected on GPIO4, you can count pin from the right....it's the 4th pin...so PIN7 i think !!

When i was trying DHT22, it was a success....with the same code Python from the tutorial http://learn.adafruit.com/dht-humidity-sensing-on-raspberry-pi-with-gdocs-logging/software-install

OK. Let's try replacing the sensor. Contact support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread and ask for a replacement AM2302.
