Good day.
Recently I purchased the USB to TTL serial cable (http://www.adafruit.com/products/954). After unpacking it I plugged to USB HUB not connecting it to a board. The USB HUB gone down immediately. When I unplugged the cable, USB HUB restored.
Is it a problem in a cable or is it me who connects it wrong?
Thank you very much in advance,
USB to TTL serial cable problem.

Re: USB to TTL serial cable problem.
Yes, the HUB is powered. The power supply provides up to 800mA.

Re: USB to TTL serial cable problem.
First I tried the TTL pins disconnected, then I tried TX, RX, GND pins connected. Result is the same. I have bad hunch that the chip just short circuits USP bower pins.
