Can I power my Pi from this USB hub?

Can I power my Pi from this powered USB hub http://www.adafruit.com/products/961? My book http://www.adafruit.com/products/1053 suggests doing this but says the Pi requires 700mA and I've heard that many powered USB hubs limit output to 500mA per port?

this hub does not have a limit per port, it has a 2A limit for all 7 ports
