hello,
i followed the tutorial and when i plug it in ZOC cant find the com port so i went to device manager and i got the yellow triangle and an error "This device cannot start. (Code 10) A device which does not exist was specified." my computer is running windows 8

According to the product description, "Windows 8 is not supported.".

is it not supported because of chip limitations or driver limitations?

The manufacturer has not released Windows 8 drivers for the chip at this point. I suspect this will be addressed at some point, but we have no ETA.
