i am a tad confused.
pins labeled do not connect in various raspberry pi documents, including the pi users guide by upton and halfacre, are labelled variously as 5v, 3.3v and ground on your boards. the user guide promises dire consequences should anything be connected to these pins.
where lies the truth?

I am not aware of any dire consequences associated with following any of our tutorials, so either they work fine, or nobody has lived to tell about it.the user guide promises dire consequences should anything be connected to these pins

pins labeled NC in version 1 were 'settled' in version 2. only change is the i2c pins (from port #0 to port #1) and pin 21/27
