GPIO Ribbon Cable for Raspberry Pi

Post by bfesser »

I just received a black GPIO ribbon cable in the mail, and I love it! It's much more flexible and resiliant (doesn't retain bends and kinks) than the standard grey ribbon cable that ships with the Raspberry Pi Starter Pack, yet has all the same ratings (28AWG, 300V, 105ºC). Besides; it looks classier, and it's even a little longer (about 1 cm)! I highly recommend this product to anyone who plans on tinkering with the Ras Pi's GPIO. It would be nice if this were the cable that ships in the starter pack, but I can assume that it's a little more expensive, and would up the cost.

Adafruit: You could add a rating/review system to your product pages. I would love to be able to give 5 (adafruit favicon) adafruit 'stars' to all the products I've purchased. I'll even photoshop proper icons for you, if you like. :P
