Support asked me to post this here.
I bought this screen from Adafruit: http://www.adafruit.com/products/946
Plugged it into the RCA jack of the raspberry pi.. and nothing shows up on the screen. The screen appears to have no indicator lights to see if its on or off or what its status is. The screen is pulling 0.07 amps when plugged in.. the raspberry pi is on.
I have no other RCA items in this house to test the screen with anything else. oscope shows the raspberry pi is certainly sending something to the RCA jack.
I'm assuming the screen is bad, but they told me to post here.. so here it is.
LCD not working?

If you press the buttons on the back, can you bring up the menus?

Re: LCD not working?
nope.. they do nothing.. i've not seen the display light up in any fashion. I've used the 12V adapter i purchase from Adafruit, and i've used my mastech set to 12V. It is drawing 0.07 amps when plugged in, but i see no sign of life from the unit itself.adafruit_support wrote:If you press the buttons on the back, can you bring up the menus?
