Pi Box - Lost Spacer

by AlecIs on Fri Feb 22, 2013 2:03 pm

I've got a brand new Pi Box (ordered from Newark - Sorry, I didn't realize I could order direct.)

I thought I put it together just fine, but I just found the instructions on this site and found that I threw away the spacer that is supposed to go under the ethernet jack (to add insult to injury, the garbage man just picked up the trash about 10 minutes ago).

What is the impact of not having the spacer?

Thanks.

The board will be a little more 'wiggly' inside the case, but not functionally harmful in any way. Anything non-conductive of similar thickness (3mm) could be put under there to accomplish the same thing (nylon washer, rubber bumper, etc.).
