SD Card "bait and switch"
I got the Raspberry Pi Starter Pack for my birthday, and everything works well except for the SD Card. If you look at the picture here (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1014) your website shows a SanDisk SD Card, however my kit came with an Dane-Elec SD card which doesn't work with the Raspberry Pi - it simply doesn't boot after downloading the OS Image onto it. Then I came across this page http://elinux.org/RPi_SD_cards which further proves that this card simply isn't supported. I request a replacement SD Card ASAP. Invoice No is 305766.

This is the SD card referenced in the link on the product page: http://www.adafruit.com/products/102
We have sold thousands of Dane-Elec cards for use with the Raspberry Pi. One person reporting a failure is not proof of incompatibility.
There are many issues that can cause a Pi not to boot. What is the state of the LEDs when you attempt to boot it?

Re: SD Card "bait and switch"
To answer your question, all of the lights are lit but nothing appears on my TV.
I formatted and recopied the OS Image multiple times with no avail.
I was able to borrow a 8GB ScanDisk from a friend and able to format it and copy the OS and the Raspberry Pi booted on the first shot.
Further I was able to mail the SD Card to a friend who also has a working Raspberry Pi but they couldn't get their Pi to boot using the Dane-Elec card.
It appears that I have a lemon. Can someone please send a replacement SD card?
