Good Afternoon.
I've been using this camera (link below), the Raspberry Pi and cobler break-out for some time now. I have it setup to run a python script from a BANNED every minute or so, because I was unable to figure out how to implement the motion detection feature of the camera into a python script.

Does anyone have any examples of this or suggestions on working this into the script? I'm using the script this good fellow created, which works well for stills: http://bradsmc.blogspot.com/2013/05/ada ... amera.html
Any help is appreciated

Re: Raspberry Pi - Weather proof TTL Serial Camera
I don't think the motion detection features got ported over to the python library used on the RasPi.
The Arduino library does have support for motion detection, so you can look at that to get ideas about how to handle the communication: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-VC ... VC0706.cpp

Re: Raspberry Pi - Weather proof TTL Serial Camera
Thank you. I had started too, but wanted to see if anyone else did the legwork before I did.
Appreciate the response.
