Order #379445
http://www.adafruit.com/products/814
I would like to get a replacement for the wifi card that was shipped to me - it arrived DOA.
I spent several hours trying to get it working on the Raspberry Pi...unssuccessfully. I then decided to try it on another Pi compatible OS..no dice. Then proceeded to try it on Windows XP and 7. The card simply does not work, I would like a replacement.
Thanks,
Ryan

Thank you Rick - I have already been in correspondence with someone via that support E-mail address and was instructed to post the issue here...
I am confused I guess - Was this merely for approval for replacement?
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: DOA wifi card
We're the ones who scan issues for technical details before doing returns. In many cases, people have problems that can be fixed with the existing hardware, or that would just pop up again with a replacement.
We're also familiar enough with the support issues relating to specific Adafruit products that we can spot patterns from a limited amount of information. In this case, your description of the steps you took to isolate the problem passes the bar that makes us think, "probably a hardware issue".
It's our job to keep the guesswork well calibrated though.
