Hello Adafruit_Mike. You have been so patient and knowledgeable in this thread. I have a question for you that might be easy. I've done the Onion Pi tutorial and the Pi access point tut as well. Everything is working perfectly, except for one small bug. I can't ssh to the pi when I'm connected to the AP.
I can ssh to the eth0 address when I'm connected to my everyday WiFi router. But I can't ssh to the pi's wlan0 address whether I'm connected to the Onion router or my standard router.
I did add this line to IPtables as per the tutorial:
Code: Select all
sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i wlan0 -p tcp --dport 22 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 22
Here's a look at my IPtables:
Code: Select all
root@raspberrypi:/etc/modprobe.d# iptables -t nat -L
Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
REDIRECT udp -- anywhere anywhere udp dpt:domain redir ports 53
REDIRECT tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcpflags: FIN,SYN,RST,ACK/SYN redir ports 9040
REDIRECT tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcp dpt:ssh redir ports 22
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain POSTROUTING (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
root@raspberrypi:/etc/modprobe.d#
When I try to connect to the pi's wlan0 address using Putty, the connection is dropped immediately.
Thanks for having a look!
