Over at the http://www.raspberrypi.org/ site, they announced a new bunch of settings for the Pi camera. "Hey kids! All you have to do is type this simple command: 'sudo rpi-update' and all these wonderful shiny things will be at your command!"
Just kidding! Not blaming anyone but myself.
After doing the update, I cannot get to the desktop. startx says "Fatal server error: no screens found" and lots more. I can provide all of the error messages if required to fix this. I hope I can get all the new Pi cam settings as well as keep playing with my PiTFT setup...
Any and all suggestions welcome. My Pi clock says "It's beer-thirty"!

you can try going through the tutorial to install the pitft kernel over again, thats the only option available right now.

Thanks for the reply - I guessed that was the deal so went ahead and just finished: back on the air!
Now I need to plug my Pi cam in and see if any of the new features work...
