dear all .
i used this type of led on arduino board and exactly this one https://www.adafruit.com/products/1734 ,but i read that it is not possible to use it with raspberry board .
Does it exist an alternative (chip) or similar led to be used on raspberry?

The problem is that the Raspberry Pi can't handle the timing requirements of the communication protocol.
Our older Digital RGB strips are based n the LPD8806 chip set, and they can be used on the Pi
