Stacking a Prototyping Pi Plate & 16x2 LCD+Keypad

Post by dmandala »

What I'd like to know is it possible to assemble a Prototyping Pi Plate (PPiP) (PID: 801) & 16x2 LCD+Keypad (16x2 LCD) (ID: 1115) so you can stack them in this order: RPI -> PPiP -> 16x2 LCD. If so what other parts would I need to order to make this work?

I plan on adding a DS1307 Real Time Clock breakout board kit (PID: 264), and a MCP3008 - 8-Channel 10-Bit ADC With SPI Interface (PID: 856) to the PPiP board as well as routing 9 channels of GPIO off the PPiP to control 9 external 5V relays.

Thanks.

David

Use this in your prototyping plate: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1112

The pins are extra-long, so you'll have enough to plug the LCD plate onto the prototyping plate.
