RP B+ alive, but not posting

hi everyone, I purchased the new ras pi b+, but it does not post. I see all of the lights, I even see my monitor flicker, so I know they are alive. I use this with my version b-----> https://www.adafruit.com/products/946, and it works fine. I copied the config file for my new ver B+, figuring it's the same monitor, so it should work fine. But, I'm not sure about the setup for the ver b + RCA port. The connection seems loose, do I need some kind of adapter for the new B+ RCA port?'m also using a male to male RCA coupler--> PID: 951

The RasPi B+ doesn't have an RCA port. That's one of the pieces that went away.

Post a photo of your hardware and we'll see what we can find.

Mike, this is my current setup for my raspi rev b: https://www.adafruit.com/products/946, which I purchased from you guys;
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Z4 ... UTF8&psc=1, my usb hub, which is powering my pi, my keyboard, mouse , and my wifi adaptor. I know is says 3 A, but mine is the 2A version, which was released before the 3A. I hope yyou do not mind the amazon url, as I'm not asking for any kind of hub support. I'm attaching a picture of my little setup. Thanks:)

That looks like a working RevB setup, but as I said, the B+ doesn't have a RCA jack. To connect NTSC/PAL video to that, take a look at the instructions on this tutorial page:

Mike, yes, that is a working raspi b setup. I do not own a hdmi monitor. I did see those directions, but I did not know how to follow them, as I'm not an engineer or an extreme hobbyist. Being my little monitor's RCA cables are built in, do I only need this---> 3.5mm (1/8") DIY 4-Pole (TRRS) Plug. Can you please just tell me what parts I need to buy. Do I just need to buy a hdmi monitor and call it a day? Excuse me for being so naive; I'm just learning as I go. Thanx:)
