hi
I am trying to connect tr-505, x0x and arturia microbrute together. Looking at midi outs/ins of all devices only possible way to connect as I see is slave microbrute 'thru' x0x to tr-505, but for some reason it doesn't happen. All devices sync well to each other if there are only two of them but when i am trying to connect them together 'thru' x0x, microbrute doesn't sync. In the end i got stuck - in x0x menu there is 'pattern sinc out' (that works for microbrobrute) or 'pattern midi sync' (that works for tr-505)
Connection chain: midi out from TR-505 to midi thru x0x, midi out from x0x to Microbrute.
Is there a way sync them all together. For now I see only way to get them synced is through midi merger
Thanks

Re: x0x midi thru
the "THRU" port on the x0x is not connected to any kind of cpu or anything
it's identical to the "IN" (only buffered, i think)
in other words, the "THRU" is basically an output, not an input
try this:
505 into the x0x (on the IN port) and then from the x0x "THRU" to the microbrute
this way, effectively whatever midi data the 505 sends will go to both the other devices
