Yes, it's a great deal.
I used them a few times, quality is pretty good.

They're good, I've put a few $K through seeedstudio. If you don't spring for the e-testing service then make sure your PCB is easy to visually check for any etch problems. I'd say maybe 2% have some kind of fault.

Seems ideal, about the same price as Batch but with quicker turnaround. Only problem is the 1 design rule, I wouldnt mind paying a little extra to have 2-3 designs per board, I dont need 5 of the same board ;)

How are they at spotting panelisation?

You might consider joining in the DorkbotPDX PCB Order (http://www.dorkbotpdx.org/wiki/pcb_order). It's only once or twice a month, but the turnaround is quick (mailed to you in under 9 days), pretty cheap, and multiple designs isn't a problem. The next one is August 2nd.

(fair disclosure: I run the thing)

Looks good, I just need to figure out the panelization. The august 2nd date is good for me too, means I should be able to get some protos in my hands within weeks(UK).

Don't worry about panelization if you don't want to. Since there's no fees beyond a straight square inch charge, there's no penalty for just submitting multiple designs.
