Hello, I just got this PIR sensor http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=189 and then read this tutorial http://www.ladyada.net/learn/sensors/pir.html. I used the sample code from the bottom of the page to test out the sensor.
The Serial Monitor will show "Motion detected!" when I move my hand in front of the sensor (it's facing away from me). Then it takes about 10 seconds for the sensor to settle down and the Serial Monitor finally says "Motion ended!". Is this normal? 10 seconds seems like a long time for the sensor to decide if there's motion or not. Is there any way to change this to detect motion every 2-3 seconds?
Thanks!
PIR sensor delay for 10 seconds?

Oh, I didn't even see the little orange knob. Thanks, that did it!
